Romans 5:6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the Grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died in vain.
* Christ died for the ungodly who are weak, without strength and are slaves to sin. Sinners are born into sin slavery because of Adams sin in the garden. But, through Christ Jesus, sinners can die to sin slavery and be born in to righteousness because of the righteousness of God on the cross.
Romans 5:12 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.
