forgiven

Why is it that "by His stripes I am healed"?

Explain "WHY" Is It- That By His Stripes I Am Healed.

Isaiah 6:6-13

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs.7 He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.” 8 Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” 9 And he said, “Yes, go, and say to this people, ‘Listen carefully, but do not understand. Watch closely, but learn nothing.’ 10 Harden the hearts of these people. Plug their ears and shut their eyes. That way, they will not see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor understand with their hearts and turn to me for healing.” 11 Then I said, “Lord, how long will this go on?” And he replied, “Until their towns are empty, their houses are deserted, and the whole country is a wasteland; 12 until the Lord has sent everyone away, and the entire land of Israel lies deserted. 13 If even a tenth—a remnant—survive, it will be invaded again and burned. But as a terebinth or oak tree leaves a stump when it is cut down, so Israel’s stump will be a holy seed.”

* It's a lot to take in all in one shot, but if you read slowly, you will understand. First thing's first, to be able to "See," you must first be touched. Only then is your guilt removed, and your sins forgiven. The "burning coal," better known as the Spirit of God, in the New Testament, is the means by Whom we are "Born Again." We are consumed by Him, through Him, being crucified together with Him; thereby dying to perfection(The Law) by perfection(The Law), in order to live for God. And when resurrected to New Life in Christ, all guilt has been removed and sins forgiven. "THEN..... I heard...... the Lord." Amazing Grace! Under the Old Covenant- the Law, Proverbs & Psalms asked the listener/reader to "listen carefully & watch closely," and even though we did, we "could not understand or learn anything." We could not perceive or understand the Word of God by simply using our eye sight or hearing ability, it was impossible for us to understand. All God wanted was for us to turn from pride(Law), to Him, for Healing.

Question: "How long did that go on?"
Answer: Until "Israel's stump" thee "Holy Seed" came to be.

Isaiah 53:1-6 53 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. 4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the sins of us all.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.

Matthew 9:2 Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”

Matthew 9:4-6 4 Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them, “Why do you have such evil thoughts in your hearts? 5 Is it easier to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Stand up and walk’? 6 So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”

1 John 2:12 I am writing to you who are God’s children because your sins have been forgiven through Jesus. * The curse of the Law brought and brings sickness, illness and death. Under the Old Covenant, the curse would come if someone would brake/disobey the Law of Moses. The curse comes today only if you embrace the Law(Old Covenant), thereby rejecting God's Grace(New Covenant). But the promises of God brought and brings health and life to all who accept the underserved, free, favor of God, found in Jesus Christ(Grace).

Guilt is a product of sin/sin's, brought on by a Lawful or "Legalistic" mentality(way of assessing how God see's your life). Illness, sickness and death are it's fruits. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THAT! JESUS DIED TO SIN. JESUS WAS AND IS THE END OF THE LAW. JESUS WAS CURSED IN OUR PLACE, SO THAT WE RECEIVE THE PROMISES OF GOD THROUGH HIM. THE PROOF FOR AND OF YOUR HEALTH, IS THE FACT!!!, THAT IN CHRIST JESUS, YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN!

Galatians 5:4 For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.

Romans 6:14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

Galatians 2:20 My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. * Legalism/Religion is a sneaky, lying, cheating disguise the Devil put's on, to make himself look like an angel of light. Don't let pride blind you again. Jesus is waiting for you to come back to Him. Even if you fell away from grace, you will never fall from Grace. You are a new creature, born again by the power of the Spirit of God. No one can undo, what the Spirit of God did. Return home(Grace). Being a sinner is what qualifies you for being accepted and welcomed back home. Welcome home, you'll find me there to.

2 Corinthians 11:14 But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Romans 7:8 But sin used this command to arouse all kinds of covetous desires within me! If there were no law, sin would not have that power.

Romans 7:13 But how can that be? Did the law, which is good, cause my death? Of course not! Sin used what was good to bring about my condemnation to death. So we can see how terrible sin really is. It uses God’s good commands for its own evil purposes.
