The Reach of God's Mercy

* Paul the chief sinner, sets himself as the example of how far God's mercy reaches. The book of Romans chapter one describes all the other sinners, lesser in offense that Paul. STOP, and think about that for a minute.

1 Timothy 1:15-16 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maiciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of eveil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

* Yes, there is still hope. If Paul was able to enter in and be changed by the grace of God,so can we. Turn to Christ.
